I have long admired the ability of the USAF to conduct extremely thorough investigations that never quite get to the point.  Their Public Affairs people can always find work in DC. 

On the other hand, we see the everyday utility of having a strategic airlifter that can fly in and out of small airfields!

French Air Strikes in Mali

The French Air Force has released video of two air strikes on enemy positions in Mali.  The second appears to be a helicopter strike.  Don't know what type of ordnance was used in the first strike but it was BIG.  H/T David Cenciotti at The Aviationist.

People who believe in gun buy-back problems may be a little confused.  And then there is this nice lady that took a StG44 to a gun buy-back program in CT.  Keep in mind that this predates Sandy Hook and this should give you some idea of the anti-gun cluelessness that pervades the northeast.  Truly breathtaking.
