As Stupid Does, Part 1
I have long admired the ability of the USAF to conduct extremely thorough investigations that never quite get to the point. Their Public Affairs people can always find work in DC.
On the other hand, we see the everyday utility of having a strategic airlifter that can fly in and out of small airfields!

French Air Strikes in Mali
The French Air Force has released video of two air strikes on enemy positions in Mali. The second appears to be a helicopter strike. Don't know what type of ordnance was used in the first strike but it was BIG. H/T David Cenciotti at The Aviationist.
